Delete your Value Guard account & data

This page lets you delete your Value Guard account and the data linked to it. Value Guard is made by EazyVerse Studio.

Delete it yourself, in the app

The fastest route is inside the app: open Profile and choose Delete account, then confirm. The account is gone straight away.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account removes:

• Your sign-in with Firebase Authentication, which is your email address and display name
• Your profile record in Cloud Firestore, which holds your email, display name, sign-in method and the pointer to your Drive backup
• Your warranty reminder records, including the email address used for email reminders
• The push tokens for your phones, so no more reminders are sent
• Your Value Guard Pro record
• The vault on the phone you delete from
• Your Google Drive backup folder, which the app moves to your Drive's trash, where Google empties it after 30 days

What we keep

If you bought Value Guard Pro, we keep the record of that purchase: the Google Play order number and a one-way hash of the purchase token. It lets you restore Pro on a new account signed in with the same Google Play account, and it no longer points to anything you can sign in with. Google Play keeps its own record of the purchase under your Google account.

Apart from that, we do not keep your personal data after deletion, except anything we are legally required to retain (for example records needed for tax or fraud prevention). We hold those only for as long as the law requires, then delete them. Usage and crash data, which is not linked to your account, expires under Firebase's own retention periods.

Things only you can remove

• Other phones. The vault on any other phone you signed in on stays there until you uninstall Value Guard, or clear its storage in Android's App info screen, on that phone.
• Drive, sooner. To remove the backup before Google empties the trash, open Google Drive, delete the ValueGuard folder from the trash yourself. You can also remove the app's access to your Drive at any time from your Google account permissions.
