Value Guard is a warranty tracker and home inventory app in one. Each item you own keeps its receipt, its manual, its serial number and all its warranties together, so when something breaks you know at once whether it is covered and where the proof is.

It replaces the shoebox of faded receipts, the warranty cards you can never find and the spreadsheet you stopped updating.

What an item looks like

An item is one thing you own: a TV, a fridge, a laptop, an e-bike. Adding one takes under a minute: name, brand, category, purchase date and price. It can also hold where you bought it, the model and serial number (or IMEI), your own notes, photos of the receipt and warranty card, and any PDF manual or invoice you attach.

Each item shows a live status: covered, expiring soon or expired. The home screen adds these up, so you can see how much of what you own is still under warranty and what it is all worth.

One item, several warranties

Real products rarely have one warranty. An e-bike's motor and its battery often have different terms, and so do a TV's panel and the rest of the set. Value Guard gives each part its own term and its own countdown, and the item shows its longest coverage.

Receipts, warranty cards and manuals

Photograph a receipt with the built-in scanner. It finds the edges of the paper and straightens it into a clean copy, on your phone. Add warranty cards, invoices and PDF manuals from your files. When you make a claim, the proof of purchase, the purchase date and the serial number are on the item's page, with the exact date each warranty ends.

Reminders before cover ends

A week before a warranty expires, Value Guard sends a reminder, while there is still time to claim, book a repair or buy an extended warranty. Reminders come from our reminder service, so they arrive even when the app is closed and follow you to a new phone. With Pro you pick the days, from 60 days before to the day itself, and can get them by email too.

A home inventory for insurance

After a fire, a flood or a theft, your insurer asks what you owned and what it was worth. Value Guard keeps the proof: receipt photos, model and serial numbers, where you bought each item and what you paid. The total value also helps you choose the right contents cover. With Pro, turn the whole inventory into a PDF report for a claim, or export it as a CSV spreadsheet.

Finding things later

Phones, laptops, cameras, game consoles, fridges, washing machines, coffee machines, power tools, bikes, furniture, watches. Search by name or brand, filter by category (or by room, with Pro), and sort by value, by date or by what expires first. With Pro you can make your own categories and rooms, which also makes it a handy inventory for a move.

Where your data lives

Your vault is stored on your phone, and it all works with no connection. Back it up for free, receipts and manuals included, to your own Google Drive: Value Guard creates its own folder there and can only see the files it made. With Pro, a second phone signed in to the same account stays in sync, and the two merge instead of overwriting each other, so edits from both survive and deleted items stay deleted.

Signing in keeps a small profile record (your email, your name and a pointer to your Drive folder), and reminders need each item's name, brand and warranty end date. The vault itself never goes to a server of ours. Value Guard collects usage and crash data so we can fix what breaks, has no ads, and we never sell your data. The privacy policy has the full detail.

What if I lose my phone? With Drive backup on, sign in on the new phone and your items, warranties, receipt photos and PDFs come back from your own Drive folder.

Can I add things I bought years ago? Yes. Enter the original purchase date and the warranty term, and Value Guard works out whether it is still covered.
