Listkin Privacy Policy
Last updated August 1, 2026
This policy explains what information Listkin collects, why, and the choices you have. Listkin is made by EazyVerse Studio. If you have any questions, email us at hello@eazyverse.com.
The short version
Listkin is a shared shopping list, so the lists you create are stored in the cloud and shared with the people you invite. We collect usage and crash data so we can see what to improve and fix what breaks. We do not show ads, we do not use advertising networks, and we never sell your data.
Signing in
Listkin uses Google Sign-In (through Firebase Authentication) to create your account. When you sign in, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from your Google account. We use these to identify your account, add you to households, and show who added or checked off an item.
What you create and share
To keep everyone's list in sync, we store the content you add:
- Shopping lists, items, quantities, and any prices you enter
- Receipts (slips) you save, including their totals and dates
- The households you belong to and their join codes
- Your display name, chosen currency, and language
Anything inside a household is visible to the other members you invite to it, so only share a join code with people you trust.
Where your data is stored
Listkin stores this data using Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Firebase Authentication), which acts as our backend on Google's infrastructure. A copy is also cached on your device so the app stays fast and works offline. Your data may be processed on servers located outside your country.
Analytics and crash reporting
Listkin uses two Google Firebase services to keep the app working well.
Firebase Analytics records how the app is used, such as which screens are opened and which features are used. Alongside this it collects device and app information, including your device model, operating system version, app version, language, a general region derived from your IP address, and a randomly generated app instance identifier. We use this to see which parts of the app people actually use, so we know what is worth improving.
Firebase Crashlytics records diagnostic information when the app crashes or misbehaves. This includes the stack trace, your device model and operating system version, and the state of the app at the time. We use this only to find and fix bugs.
Both services are linked to your account ID, so we can connect a crash report to a support request from you. We do not use them to build a profile of you or to identify you outside the app.
Neither service is used for advertising. The data is processed by Google acting as our service provider, and Google's handling of it is described in the Firebase privacy documentation.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, we use Firebase Cloud Messaging to let you know when a shared list changes. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.
What we do not do
- No advertising and no ad networks
- No selling or renting of your personal information
- No use of your usage or crash data for advertising, profiling, or resale
Your choices
- Edit or delete items, lists, and receipts at any time in the app
- Leave a household to stop sharing with its members
- Ask us to delete your account and its data by emailing hello@eazyverse.com
Children
Listkin is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the app.
