About

One search. Twelve shops. One answer.

PC Parts Hounder asks twelve Bangladeshi PC-parts retailers the same question at the same moment, then lines their prices up so you can see who is cheapest, and exactly how much you would overpay anywhere else.

Twelve shops answer at once

Star Tech, Ryans, TechLand BD, Potaka IT, Creatus, Binary Logic, PCB Store, UltraTech, Bengal PC, UCC, PC House and Global Brand. Every configured shop is asked on every search. There is nothing to switch on, and a shop that misses is retried in the background rather than turned into a prompt.

The same part, however each shop words it

Twelve shops write the same graphics card twelve different ways. Hounder reads the model code, the capacity, the memory, the kit and the packaging out of each title and merges the listings that are genuinely the same physical part, so you are comparing like with like and not two similar names.

The gap, stated in Taka

Every row says how much less the cheapest shop charges than the dearest. That is the number that tells you whether the price a salesman just quoted you is fair. A sold-out listing never takes the winning slot and never sets the gap, because a price nobody can buy is not a price.

Browse thirteen categories

Graphics cards, processors, RAM, SSDs, motherboards, power supplies, monitors, casings, coolers, hard drives, keyboards, mice and audio. Narrow a long list by model or brand, sort by cheapest or by biggest gap, and hide anything out of stock.

Save a part, and hear when it drops

Save the thing you are waiting on. When it gets cheaper, Hounder tells you the next time you open the app.

Built for a phone on mobile data

No account and no sign-up. A search can be stopped mid-run, and stopping really does abort the requests already on the wire, which on a metered connection is the whole point. Every price says how old it is, and anything past half an hour is fetched again.

Honest about what it knows

Prices are read from each retailer's own public pages, so the shop's page is always the truth. Stock is shown only where the shop states it, and unknown stays unknown rather than being guessed. Hounder sells nothing and takes no commission: once you have decided, it hands you to the retailer's own page and gets out of the way.

English and Bangla

The whole app reads in either language. Prices stay in ASCII digits in both, because you are checking our number against the shop's own page, and taka amounts group the South Asian way.

PC Parts Hounder is free to use.
